After the second world war, SugarCane’s masterpiece “1947 model” fully reproduces the luxurious details found in jeans in the late 1940s. Based on vintage denim, we are particular about the entire process of spinning, dyeing, weaving and sewing. The finishing has it all to fit the name of “STANDARD DENIM”.

This red chambray shirt uses red thread dyed after analyzing vintage fabrics for the warp and natural-colored thread for the weft. Both chest pockets have flaps to prevent items from falling out. Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC28652 / Coke Stripe LS Work Shirt – Beige
This is a reproduction of the "Coke stripe" work shirt that was used as a uniform by a major American beverage manufacturer in the 1950s and 1960s. It features a tough fabric that can withstand the transportation of heavy bottles. The herringbone twill fabric was woven on an old-fashioned power loom by analyzing deadstock (vintage found in brand new condition) owned by Sugar Cane. New colors navy and green are also available from this season. The clean
design without a collar stand or placket goes well with the striped pattern. The top of the flap of the left chest pocket is equipped with a throttle for a pen, and there is an additional pen pocket inside the pocket. The back yoke and cuffs are gathered instead of tucked. The side slits are made of a power cloth with selvedge, making it sturdy.

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC29120 / Rayon Ombre Check Open Shirt
This ombre check open shirt is inspired by vintage styles from the 1950s and 1960s, which have been popular in recent years. This season, a new color, off-white, has been released. Based on vintage items released by TOWN CRAFT and other brands, the pattern is made with five colors for the warp and four colors for the weft, and features elegant Takase shell buttons and a small collar. This was around the time when shirts made from synthetic fibers were starting to be released, but the fabric used for this item is still 100% rayon.

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC42460H / 14.25oz Black Denim 1947 Hard Wash Model
The 1947 model of black denim, which will be available from this season, has been given an intense wash and released. Not only is the denim fabric faded and the seams puckered, but the aging of the cotton thread stitching, leather patches, and metal parts are also attractive. The details of the buttons and rivets, hidden rivets, and regular straight silhouette remain the same, but the length is unified so that hemming is not necessary.

Everblack fabric is made to maintain its colour for as long as possible, withstanding 40, or more washes without any significant loss of colour. If you are looking for a pair of pitch-black jeans that do not fade this is the way to go.
Keen on knowing what differentiates Everblack from other black denim?
Normally, when denim is dyed part of the dye will absorb in the cotton fiber while the rest remains bound only to the surface of the yarns. This is what gives denim its aging property that in many cases is sought after. However, when it comes to black jeans this is not always the case which is why Nudie Jeans Co. developed the Everblack denim. The technical difference between Everblack and regular black denim is that it utilises a method and type of dyestuff that allows improved absorption as well as a stronger fixation. This results in denim with a significantly greater colourfastness, which does not fade with wearing and washing.

Nudie Jeans Co. Lean Dean Dry Japan Selvage
Made with a beautiful Japanese dry selvage comfort stretch denim that is produced by the legendary Kaihara Mills in Japan. The fabric has a redcast and an open construction that will render clear blue hues with wear. It has an orange selvage id line, a feature made exclusively for Nudie Jeans. We recommend 6 months of hard, every day, wear before the first wash, if not longer. This way you will end up with a beautiful pair of worn-in jeans. It sure is a long time, however, it's only a recommendation. As long as you give them love, the result will be great.

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC42021 / 14.25oz Selvedge Slim Tapered
The SC42021 has a slim and tapered leg considerably from knee to bottom. It is one of the most distinctive differences among the other Sugar Cane's jeans. Another obvious difference is denim fabric used, which is the same flagship 14.25oz selvedge denim as the 1947 model that is well-reputed for its beautiful patina that is created after several years of wearing.
SC42021 has narrowest leg opening than any other models and higher rise than SC42014. As this is made of the same 14.25 oz selvage denim as SC41947 model can be defined as tapered slim version of the 1947.Â
