The warp is constructed with heavily textured long-slub yarns, while the weft incorporates nep yarns made from recycled cotton. This combination produces distinctive vertical fading over time, allowing the wearer to experience a unique aging process.Dyeing+
Made using 100% pure indigo and traditional rope dyeing techniques. Although the surface of the thread is dyed blue, the core of the thread is not dyed. This "white core" contrast creates a beautiful aging effect as the garment is worn. It was created around 1990 and uses extra dark colors that create strong contrast fades.Weaving+

Omoto Denim (3115) 13.5oz Type 1 Denim Jacket
While following the design of a vintage jacket, characterized by a single pocket on the chest and a cinch back, the silhouette has been updated for a modern look.
Pockets have been added at the waist to increase practicality. At Omotodenim , both TYPE1 and TYPE2 have the same silhouette.
Inspired by tailor-made jackets, the pattern design is based on the structure of the human body.
With precisely designed armholes, thoughtful back pleats and a modern, adjusted collar size, it seamlessly blends functionality with sophisticated beauty.

65 % Memphis Cotton: American-grown raw cotton with a fiber length of 27.8 mm that combines a unique firmness with a supple texture.
35 % Zimbabwean cotton, 28.6mm fibre length, providing a good balance of softness and strength.
The fabric was woven using a 1950s "Sakamoto shuttle loom" that had been modified by the manufacturer, with the warp threads subjected to the lightest possible tension.
The finished product is a culmination of the skill and passion of the craftsmen in the Sanbi region.
