These Buzz Rickson's original army denim trousers are made from cotton twill. Based on a relaxed thigh, it features a gentle taper from the knees down, creating a wide-straight silhouette. The slightly deeper rise ensures a snug and secures fit around the waist offering comfort. Crafted from 13 oz rigid organic cotton denim with grey threads on all seams and copper trims, this fabric delivers a very clean look with grey-matching threads. Subtle wear marks and tonal shifts add depth and character, while the copper trims break up the monotony by adding a touch of warmth. The white weft brings out sharp highlights and irregularities in both warp and weft create a cross-hatch pattern throughout the fabric, most prevalent in the more faded areas. The streakiness is more pronounced in the vertical warp yarns and perfectly blends with the elegant wear marks.

Inspired by tailor-made trousers, the pattern design is based on the structure of the human body. It combines a comfortable fit with a sophisticated silhouette.
Unsanforized (Shrink to fit) denim with one-wash processed.

Fabric+
The warp is constructed with heavily textured long-slub yarns, while the weft incorporates nep yarns made from recycled cotton. This combination produces distinctive vertical fading over time, allowing the wearer to experience a unique aging process.
Dyeing+
Made using 100% pure indigo and traditional rope dyeing techniques. Although the surface of the thread is dyed blue, the core of the thread is not dyed. This "white core" contrast creates a beautiful aging effect as the garment is worn. It was created around 1990 and uses extra dark colors that create strong contrast fades.
Weaving+
Produced on "Toyoda" shuttle looms, the pioneering machines of Japanese denim weaving. The warp is woven under extremely low tension, resulting in a characteristic rough texture and depth of expression.
