Buzz Rickson’s Lot BR25995 / Blue Chambray Work Shirt
The chambray shirt adopted by the US Navy is a long-lasting utility shirt that has been issued since the 1930s to the present day. This chambray shirt is a reproduction of a shirt adopted in the 1950s. Although the design and specifications have changed over the years, the shirts adopted in the 1950s from the beginning had gussets on both sides of the hem and a placket with a stand-up collar, a good old-fashioned specification. The chambray fabric of this era was loosely taut, and it shrank with repeated washing, resulting in a unique texture.

Buzz Rickson’s Lot BR26082 / Cotton Covert Work Shirt – Black
Cotton covert material was used for American workwear from the 1940s to the 1950s. It is a chambray-like fabric made by twisting colored and white warp threads together to make a single thread and weaving it into a single thread. By expressing the fine shades in the fabric, the aim was to make dirt that would get dirty while working less noticeable.
