In the 1960s, Sugar Cane produced jeans with star-shaped stitching on order from the US military PX (post exchange) stationed in Japan. Based on this pair of jeans, which can be said to be the roots of the brand, these “Star Jeans” have been revived in modern times. The silhouette is a regular straight similar to the 1947 model.

SugarCane's masterpiece "1947 model" has been newly released in black denim, which has seen a rise in prices even for vintage items in recent years. These classic work pants have a deep rise and a thick silhouette from the thighs to the hem. Of particular note is the waist pocket, where the hem of the facing is flared, making it difficult for contents to fall out. The bottom of the lining is also 28% denser than normal, and a special lining is used to increase strength without the need for a patch.

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC51841 / 11oz. Blue Denim Work Shorts
Classic work pants with a deep rise and a thick silhouette from the waist to the hem. 11oz blue denim woven with a shuttle loom using rope-dyed indigo yarn for the warp and grey yarn for the weft. You can enjoy aging unique to work pants that are different from jeans. Full-length work pants "Lot No. SC41822" with the same blue denim fabric and common details are also available.
The button fly on the front uses a black-painted swinging donut button. Sewing in major areas such as the crotch is made with 3-needle stitching. The right front pocket is also equipped with a coin pocket. The left side has a hammer loop for hanging a hammer, and the right side has a rule and pliers pocket for storing pliers. A union ticket attached to the inside of the pocket. Wear produced by the Union, an American labor union, is called Union Made, and this union ticket was sewn on the product even at that time.

The 1947 model has been created by re-examining the aging process used up until last year, and has a realistic aging effect. The aging process has been used to express the faded marks on the back of the knees, which were not present in the previous model. Not only the fading of the denim fabric and the puckering of the stitching, but also the aging of the cotton thread stitching, leather patches, and metal parts are attractive.

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC39511 / FR Indigo Print Open Shirt
Based on a deadstock TOM SAWYER brand kids' shirt, the dye was replaced and geometric patterns were printed with ink on the indigo-dyed fabric. The original was a long-sleeved "ROMA ITALIAN COLLAR", but the open-collar short-sleeved version and the buttons were changed from milky white urea to takase shell, making it more comfortable to wear and luxurious.
