Buzz Rickson’s Lot 51904 / Gold Tiger Pattern Shorts

SGD249.00 Inc. GST
In the 1960s, the US military procurement headquarters in Japan chose to procure camouflage uniforms from Japan. This was because Japan had advanced printing technology, rapid production, and was also cost-effective. The patterns were left to the discretion of factories across Japan, which is why countless variations of tiger stripe patterns were created. Many of the early tiger stripes were made in Japan, but some were sent to Okinawa for sewing, and some were also manufactured in Thailand and around Vietnam during the latter part of the Vietnam War. These shorts are an original Buzz Rickson's product that has been modified by cutting the length of the pants. 100% Cotton Made in Japan S - W30" M - W32" L - W34" XL - W36"

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC51443 / Fiction Romance 9oz Wabash Stripe Zip Fly Shorts

SGD239.00 Inc. GST
These shorts are made of 9oz Wabash stripe fabric. They feature the elaborate and luxurious details seen in work pants from the early 20th century, such as the curved pocket shape and stitching at the pocket opening. The front has a zipper instead of a button fly. The vintage base does not actually have a zip front type, but the HOOKLESS zipper used in vintage jackets from the same era is used to ensure consistency in historical research. The edges of the pocket opening are reinforced with rivets. The suspender buttons are sewn on instead of hammered in so that they can be removed when not in use. The hip pockets are cut horizontally, as seen before the 1930s. The tool pocket on the right side was used as a candle holder at the time. SUGAR CANE "FICTION ROMANCE" The timeless charm of vintage wear, such as details based on practicality and sewing specifications that pursue functionality. These works embody the romance of fiction, born from unraveling historical facts and documents from that time, reviving lost details, and combining them in a unique way by Sugar Cane. 100% Cotton Made in Japan
