| Regular fit jeans with a slim leg in a remarkable Japanese stretch selvage denim meticulously woven by the legendary Kaihara Mills in Japan. This orange-line selvage, exclusively woven for us, boasts a rigid-like texture with pronounced coarseness and a distinct 3-dimensional feel, accentuated by clear twill lines. The ring-spun warp and weft yarns offer moderate slubbiness, promising a distinct salt-and-pepper texture as the denim ages, and revealing clear twill lines in areas prone to abrasion.
Achieved through 20 rounds of dip-dyeing in pure indigo, Kaihara’s darkest and most saturated hue graces the warp yarns, the most important feature of the Dry Japan Selvage. This ensures that the warp yarns ages into clear, redcast, blue hues over time while maintaining contrast and depth in areas untouched by wear. Dry Japan Selvage has demonstrated exceptional aging qualities over the years, earning its place as one of our most cherished Japanese selvage denims, now available in Grim Tim. Enjoy the journey! We recommend a minimum of 6 months of daily wear before the first wash, although longer wear enhances the unique aging process. While it may seem lengthy, it’s a suggestion; your jeans will acquire character with love and wear.

Crafted from our very first Dry denim fabric - the one and only. This 13.5 oz rigid organic cotton from the legendary Candiani Mill in Italy is part of our humble beginnings. Nestled in the western part of Lombardy, amidst the vibrancy of Milan and the scenic vineyards of Piemonte, Candiani draws inspiration from its rich surroundings. It’s raw and honest in its potential. Ring-spun cotton gives it strength and texture, while the rich indigo dye and orange threads add bold contrast. The vertical streaks in the fabric are already visible, waiting to be brought to life through wear, and will add striking contrast to the fades to come.
The texture and hand are smooth, but the warp yarns bring a subtle unevenness that makes this denim anything but ordinary. This is denim that doesn’t just age - it evolves. Crafted from 13 oz rigid organic cotton denim with grey threads on all seams and copper trims, this fabric delivers a very clean look with grey-matching threads. Subtle wear marks and tonal shifts add depth and character, while the copper trims break up the monotony by adding a touch of warmth. The white weft brings out sharp highlights and irregularities in both warp and weft create a cross-hatch pattern throughout the fabric, most prevalent in the more faded areas. The streakiness is more pronounced in the vertical warp yarns and perfectly blends with the elegant wear marks.
This fabric is visually soft and pleasant but carries a textured hand with just the right amount of coarseness. This is a beautiful pair of jeans with an airy yet robust drape.

Jeans with a slim tapered fit made in organic comfort stretch denim. It tapers evenly from the hip down to the ankle, an aspect that has made Lean Dean one of the most popular fits.
Jeans made in comfort stretch denim. Like the name implies, this dry, deep blue, option has been through 16 indigo dips. Unlike other stretch denim, these are not rinsed, so they are stiffer, and will shrink a bit more. Account for inseam shrinkage of 2% and 4.5-6% in width. Thus, sizing down is not recommended.
