Nudie Jeans Co. Lean Dean Dry Black Selvage
Description
The almighty Lean Dean in a crispy dry black comfort stretch selvage denim. Weighing in at 12.75oz. the denim is nicely coupled with Dean's slim fit. The starch in the denim gives it its crispy hand and, most importantly, generates pronounced creases on the jeans when worn - allowing for some contrasting moustaches and honeycombs. The denim itself is woven on old school shuttle looms with yarns that have been yarn dyed. The shuttle looms interlace the yarns into the selvage denim and the yarn dying keeps the core of the yarns white allowing the weave to fade beautifully - a slow process that reflects how denim was made back in the day. The finished denim has a clear twill structure which is nicely balanced by a slight slub character which with wear and washing will get more pronounced in a perfectly imperfect way. As with all our dry denim we recommend at least 6 months of daily wear before the first wash to achieve contrasting fades. This is of course just a recommendation.

Nudie Jeans Co. Lean Dean Dry True Selvage
Slim fit jeans with a tapered leg made in organic comfort stretch denim. These jeans are made from 13.5 oz Turkish selvage denim with clear, diagonal, twill lines, a slight warp yarn slub, and a deep, dark, indigo hue. Where wearing exposes the denim for abrasion, a flat surface with clear twill lines will be rendered. On the other hand, the unabraded areas will pucker and render a nice grainy, salt 'n pepper surface. This contrast between surface structures is one of the fabric's greatest traits as it will render wear-marks with a rich variation. The indigo will fade towards a blue hue with a slight greenish-yellowcast. Thanks to the dark indigo hue and the denim structure, wearing and washing will render highlighting wear-marks that contrasts deep dark depots of indigo.

A regular denim skirt based on the classic 5-pocket jean. It's short and has a front yoke with an obvious incline toward western-rodeo wear. The clear blue hue shows red cast denim at its finest, reminiscent of denim from the 60s and 70s. To let the blue take center stage, we gave it tobacco threads and added vintage-inspired, shiny copper trims. Wearing, tearing, and washing will eventually shroud this skirt in a dreamy technicolor blue tone.
