Based on the waist overalls from the same era as the 1936 denim blouse, the ‘2025 model’ features a wider cut from the thighs to the hem, reminiscent of work pants. While original models included buttons for suspenders and a cinch back at the waist, these have been omitted in this Sugar Cane original design. However, details such as the crotch rivets and the direction of the rear center chain stitch (right high) follow the specifications of pre-war models. The fabric, like the denim blouse mentioned earlier, reproduces the slub yarns of early, imperfect spinning, promising rugged fading and natural aging. This model also comes with a newly produced green flasher.

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC28190 / Blue Denim LS Western Shirt
This denim shirt is based on vintage Western shirts from the 1950s and 60s. The denim fabric used is also made by analyzing vintage shirts and handling the spinning and dyeing processes from scratch.
At the time, many Western shirts made for Western movies and stage costumes were flashy and extravagant, with fringes and satin fabrics, but for cowboys' real, practical clothing, fabrics such as denim, chambray, and flannel were preferred. The body and sleeve seams are made with double-needle chain stitching, giving it a workwear feel, but one of its characteristics is that the waist is more fitted compared to work shirts.
Detailed Specifications
Features a Western yoke, said to have been designed to protect the shoulders in case of a fall from a horse. Snap buttons are used throughout the garment to allow for easy removal if the shirt gets caught on horse tack or cow horns during work. The pearl portion of the buttons is made from real shell (carved from seashells), resulting in individual variations in color and texture. Three buttons are used on each cuff. A luxurious construction with a total of 18 buttons on one garment. A union ticket is tucked into the inside of the placket. The stitching uses a tough chain stitch.

Skillfully woven with 20-count and 10-count yarns, this shirt features a multi-stripe design with red lines reminiscent of selvedge. The silhouette is Sugar Cane's classic work shirt style. The shirt is finished in an easy-to-coordinate tricolor design with three warp colors and one weft color. A long-sleeved version using the same fabric is also available.

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot SC42460H / 14.25oz Black Denim 1947 Hard Wash Model
The 1947 model of black denim, which will be available from this season, has been given an intense wash and released. Not only is the denim fabric faded and the seams puckered, but the aging of the cotton thread stitching, leather patches, and metal parts are also attractive. The details of the buttons and rivets, hidden rivets, and regular straight silhouette remain the same, but the length is unified so that hemming is not necessary.
