Using crack rubber printing and pigment printing techniques, followed by pigment processing and bio-washing, we achieve a deep visual that sets us apart from standard print techniques. The natural wear and fading of the print combine to create a unique beauty reminiscent of decades-old vintage clothing. <TEXTILE: Raffi Sinker Fleece> “Filling” is the short-fiber cotton that is removed during the spinning process and would otherwise be discarded. Raffi yarn is blended and topped with a certain percentage of this filling during the spinning process, increasing the yarn’s strength and creating a natural unevenness on the surface. Knitted individually on a vintage circular knitting machine, the fleece fabric reveals the natural unevenness inherent to the yarn, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of old American style. It is finished with a rare circular brushed finish, of which only a few processing plants remain. Furthermore, reusing cotton waste reduces waste and is an ethical initiative that is considerate of the global environment, making it a noteworthy project in terms of environmental conservation.
