Before the 1990s, many vintage American T-shirts were made using a tubular knit with no side seams—a style known as “round body.” These were ideal for mass production, as they didn’t require side seam stitching and were often used as the base for affordable, American-made tees at the time. However, adjusting the body width on tubular machines was not easy, which eventually led to a shift toward side-seamed construction that allowed for more flexibility in sizing. This T-shirt faithfully reproduces that classic American vintage style using a tubular knit (no side seams).
