To enhance the indigo color of the warp threads in the twill denim fabric, the composition was reevaluated, and finer threads were selected for the weft. By applying a process that minimizes shrinkage after washing to the utmost extent, reduce the drawbacks of rigid (unwashed) fabrics and alleviate concerns about size selection. #400 is the most relaxed, wide-fitting model. Based on a relaxed thigh, it features a gentle taper from the knees down, creating a wide-straight silhouette. The slightly deeper rise ensures a snug and secures fit around the waist offering comfort. This Year of the Horse model is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide and is themed after the zodiac sign for 2026.
Each pair is a special edition featuring an individual serial number. These jeans are made from a 15.7oz denim fabric based on the material used for MOMOTARO JEANS’ CLASSIC series, with the weft yarn replaced with Suvin cotton. This exclusive fabric was woven specifically for the Year of the Horse Jeans.
The leather patch features a special Year of the Horse design, the right back pocket showcases an original horse-inspired graphic by Ikkoku Kobayashi, and the back of the waistband is finished with a commemorative 2026 name tag.
