Description
The Steady Eddie II Twisted Tracks faithfully replicate the fades and wear marks of an original pair of worn-in Nudie Jeans. Using a precise method, every detail of the original has been captured and recreated on a new pair of jeans.
Crafted from exceptional denim, these jeans are washed to a clear tone of indigo blue with varied differences in hue through highlights. The fabric features a diagonal pattern and boasts a solid texture through gentle vertical streakiness. Along with the streaky rows of weft yarns, the contrast between the lighter faded areas and the darker surroundings gives a visual effect that bears resemblance to stone-washed denim, while keeping the radical change in tone on the low. Instead, wear marks attributed to this washing technique add fades that keep the transition between dark and light pronounced yet dim – resulting in an authentic worn-in feel and look. The orange back embroidery gives this piece the iconic Nudie Jeans appearance.

| Regular fit jeans with a slim leg in a remarkable Japanese stretch selvage denim meticulously woven by the legendary Kaihara Mills in Japan. This orange-line selvage, exclusively woven for us, boasts a rigid-like texture with pronounced coarseness and a distinct 3-dimensional feel, accentuated by clear twill lines. The ring-spun warp and weft yarns offer moderate slubbiness, promising a distinct salt-and-pepper texture as the denim ages, and revealing clear twill lines in areas prone to abrasion.
Achieved through 20 rounds of dip-dyeing in pure indigo, Kaihara's darkest and most saturated hue graces the warp yarns, the most important feature of the Dry Japan Selvage. This ensures that the warp yarns ages into clear, redcast, blue hues over time while maintaining contrast and depth in areas untouched by wear. Dry Japan Selvage has demonstrated exceptional aging qualities over the years, earning its place as one of our most cherished Japanese selvage denims, now available in Grim Tim. Enjoy the journey! We recommend a minimum of 6 months of daily wear before the first wash, although longer wear enhances the unique aging process. Crafted from our very first Dry denim fabric - the one and only. This 13.5 oz rigid organic cotton from the legendary Candiani Mill in Italy is part of our humble beginnings. Nestled in the western part of Lombardy, amidst the vibrancy of Milan and the scenic vineyards of Piemonte, Candiani draws inspiration from its rich surroundings. It’s raw and honest in its potential. Ring-spun cotton gives it strength and texture, while the rich indigo dye and orange threads add bold contrast. The vertical streaks in the fabric are already visible, waiting to be brought to life through wear, and will add striking contrast to the fades to come.
The texture and hand are smooth, but the warp yarns bring a subtle unevenness that makes this denim anything but ordinary. This is denim that doesn’t just age - it evolves. Keen on knowing what differentiates Everblack from other black denim?
Normally, when denim is dyed part of the dye will absorb in the cotton fiber while the rest remains bound only to the surface of the yarns. This is what gives denim its aging property that in many cases is sought after. However, when it comes to black jeans this is not always the case which is why Nudie Jeans Co. developed the Everblack denim. The technical difference between Everblack and regular black denim is that it utilises a method and type of dyestuff that allows improved absorption as well as a stronger fixation. This results in denim with a significantly greater colourfastness, which does not fade with wearing and washing.
