NORTH WORKS × BARNS OUTFITTERS special collaboration items
The city of Fussa in Tokyo, about 40 km from the center of the city, has a somewhat American atmosphere, partly due to the Yokota Air Base. NORTH WORKS is a workshop and atelier in a renovated U.S. military house, where they continue to create products with unchanging value based on basic designs. Each item is made by hand, so each piece has a slightly different face, which becomes the flavor of the item. The 2025 Spring/Summer collection features a special collaboration Native American jewelry series, commissioned by BARNS OUTFITTERS as a tribute to the various Native American tribes and silversmiths that have been central to the brand since its early days. A design combining arrow stamp work and turquoise.
"Traditional Technique"
This design features the traditional repoussé technique, commonly seen in Navajo Indian jewelry, where patterns are raised on the surface by hammering from the reverse side using metal punches. Combined with symbolic stamp work such as arrows, this piece embodies the essence of authentic Native American jewelry.

These jeans are a reproduction of the tapered jeans of the 1960s. The rise is slightly higher, giving them more room around the waist and a slightly tapered silhouette. The length is also shorter to suit Japanese wearers, so you can wear them without cutting the hems. The fabric is 12oz denim with a 7 count warp and 10 count weft.
