Japan Blue Jeans (JBOT13053A) Sashiko Haori

SGD299.00 Inc. GST
Style: Haori Haori is a traditional Japanese jacket (a type of short kimono). Although it is simple, unique design and fabric are great accents on your outfit. Fabric: 11oz indigo sashiko. Sashiko fabric is originally for firefighter’s clothing in the Edo period and in modern times, it is known as Judo and Kendo uniforms. Japan Blue Jeans developed this sashiko fabric into modern and casual clothing. The fabric is lighter and softer compared to how it was in the past to suit daily casual wear. JBJ's indigo sashiko fabric is rope dyed as same as denim, so it will get fades. Details ・Side seam pockets ・Inside pockets ・100% Cotton ・Made in Japan -------------------------------------- The model is 183cm, 62kg.

Japan Blue Jeans (JBOT13414S) Point Drizzler Jacket

Fabric: West Point Waist Point fabric made of lustrous combed yarn. "Combed yarn" is made by removing impurities from the fibers and aligning the fibers parallel to each other like brushing hair with a comb to make it smooth. Using the yarns made by twisting two yarns together (two ply yarn), prevents fluffing and gives the fabric a soft texture that nice to touch. The high-density weaving process makes the fabric firm and sturdy. 100% Cotton Made in Japan

Momotaro Jeans (MXLS1014) Indigo Jacquard Cardigan

This jacquard woven cardigan has an eye-catching indigo patchwork. Indigo yarns are rope-dyed. It has slit pockets on both sides for convenient use. As it is a single piece of seamless fabric, it is smooth and comfortable to wear without the stiffness of actual patchwork. You can also enjoy the indigo hue that gradually fades with each wear. Just by wearing it over a simple inner layer, you can create a look with a strong presence. [What is jacquard weaving?] Jacquard weaving is a weaving method that can produce elaborate and complex patterns and designs by intricately combining yarns. The Jacquard loom was developed in 19th century France by inventor Joseph Marie Jacquard and revolutionized the world of textile design. Patterns woven by Jacquard weaving are very elaborate and sophisticated, and are suitable for expressing depth and three-dimensionality, enhancing the wearer's individuality. 100% Cotton Made in Japan

Regular fit zipped worker jacket made in Nudie Jeans Utility Denim. Our vintage workwear-inspired denim that consists of recycled, worn-out Nudie Jeans and certified organic cotton. This zipped worker jacket's fit is regular with a boxy silhouette. The pleats at the back keep it tidy while allowing unrestricted movement when needed. Adjustable straps at the waist allow for adjustments - keeping the cold out or letting the warmth out. It features welt front pockets with pocket bags attached using curved twin-needle seams through the shell fabric. Additionally, it features a nifty chest pocket that features a clever hidden slot. This jacket is our refined interpretation of the classic zipped workwear jacket. Convenient, comfortable, and with timeless beauty that when worn extensively, only gets better. Our Nudie Jeans Utility Denim is our take on the denim of the finest chore coats, dungarees, and carpenters' pants from the 1930s, which utilizes fine, high-twist yarns together with a 2/1 Z construction. This denim is made possible thanks to the locals in cities where our Nudie Jeans Repair Shops are located. The process is straightforward yet impactful: we remove metal trims, cut and grind the jeans, and transform them back into fiber to create new denim. By doing so, we extend the lifecycle of the cotton we have already used, reducing the need for new virgin organic cotton

Nudie Jeans Co. Robby 70’s Sand

SGD251.30 Inc. GST
Here’s a slightly updated version of Robby, regular fit jeans jacket. The flaps covering the chest pockets got smoother, rounded edges, and we made the collar points longer. These minor changes go perfectly with this Japanese twill: it’s stiff, clear texture and the 50/50 ratio of organic cotton and recycled polyester. Nudie Jeans call it hue sand, but it has more the look of wet sand.

Orslow 6002 Type 2 1950’s 13.5oz Selvedge Denim Jacket (2 Year Wash)

SGD579.00 Inc. GST
The TYPE2 DENIM JACKET, said to have been born in the 1950s, retains the pleats on the front, reminiscent of the TYPE1, but now features two front pockets. The back belt has been eliminated, and an adjuster has been added to the hem belt section, resulting in a modified silhouette. This transformation elevated it from a workwear garment to a Western wear and fashion item. It was a popular choice worn by actors and musicians who were active during the 1950s to 1960s. Orslow's 50'S DENIM JACKET is produced using carefully selected original selvedge denim, starting from the thread stage. The fabric, woven with yarn that exhibits the natural irregularities seen in denim from the 1950s, evolves with wear and repeated washing, becoming a cherished item that develops a unique patina over time. 100% Cotton Made in Japan

Orslow 6005 Type 3 1960’s 13.5oz Selvedge Denim Jacket (Used Wash)

SGD579.00 Inc. GST
This is the 60's style denim jacket, which is the most familiar design among denim jackets. It evolved from TYPE1 and TYPE 2, shedding its workwear image and becoming fully recognized as a fashion item. Beloved by many musicians, hippies, surfers, and others during the 1960s to 1970s, it carries a strong association with that era. The denim used in this jacket is woven with original uneven yarn, evoking the atmosphere of the 1960s. It is available in two color variations: one wash and used wash. 100% Cotton Made in Japan

Orslow 6011 Type 1 40’s 13.5oz Selvedge Denim Pleated Blouse (Denim Used)

SGD599.00 Inc. GST
In the 1940s, denim jackets were not yet called "jean jackets" and were referred to as "pleated blouses" due to the inclusion of pleats. The design of front pleats reflects a remnant from the 1800s. Fabrics that were not treated with anti-shrinkage processing after weaving would often shrink vertically. During the 1800s, it is said that garments were sewn using the fabric's horizontal direction, allowing the pleats to be undone after washing to widen the garment's width. Even after transitioning to using fabric in the vertical direction, the design of front pleats has persisted and been inherited as a feature in modern times. Denim from the 1940s tended to have longer vertical variations compared to later denim. This difference in appearance could be attributed to whether the cotton used for the fabric was hand-picked or machine-harvested, but the exact cause is uncertain. Denim from the 1940s and the 1950s exhibit distinct variations in their appearances. Orslow 6011 utilizes original denim with longer vertical variations compared to other materials. The back design features a T-back style for size 3 and above. This design appears to have been conceived during a time when resources were precious and efficiently utilizing larger fabric sizes was essential. 100% Cotton Made in Japan

Pure Blue Japan (6115) Double Face Indigo x Stripe Type 2 Jacket

SGD459.00 Inc. GST
DETAILS: -Type II style w/side pocket -Herringbone twill pocket lining -Knife pleats -Branded Iron buttons -Deerskin leather patch -Side tab adjusters -Double weave fabric - denim outer, cotton blend inner. -Border pattern interior fabric -Embroidered leaf emblem at side seam Pure Blue Japan did it again with a "double weaving" technique to create a Type II with double the fabric character. The process involves weaving two layers of fabric together on specially-designed looms. So what looks like a lined jacket is actually a jacket made from a single, cohesive piece of woven cloth. The outer face is a double indigo denim with a pronounced vertical slub. It will fade with wear as the indigo dyes part ways with denim. The inner face is a cotton blend, border patterned fabric with flecks of nep throughout. This inner fabric provides the same visual flare as a blanket lining without the bulk. 75% cotton, 15% polyester, 10% acrylic Made in Japan

Sugar Cane & Co. Lot No. SC14601 / 13oz. Black Denim Jacket 1953 Model

A 1953 model during the transition period when denim jackets changed from work wear to casual wear. Commonly known as 2nd. This classic from the 1950s is made from black denim. This is original black denim, with both warp and weft being black, not ``after-dyed black due to dirt'' that is sometimes found in vintage clothing, nor black denim with white weft. It is 13 oz selvedge denim woven with uneven threads of 7 vertical and 7 horizontal, and the collar is white and red. In addition, sulfur dye is used to dye the black color, and the color fades with age as it is worn. Can be worn as a set with jeans "Lot No. SC41470" made of the same black denim.
STANDARD DENIM (Standard Denim) As a result of reproducing vintage denim with particular attention to the entire process of spinning, dyeing, weaving, and sewing, this masterpiece has been used by many people for many years and continues to be made as a standard. This is the true “STANDARD”.
Details: The fabric is woven with black threads for both the warp and weft, and is sewn with black sewing thread for a solid finish. The front has action pleats and box stitching. Uses nickel-colored iron buttons. The open ends of the sleeves are reinforced with rivets. There is a tab on the back hem for adjusting the waist. Selvedge is placed on the back of the placket. 100% Cotton Made in Japan

Sugar Cane Lot No. SC14602 / 13oz. Brown Duck Jacket 1953 Model

SGD299.00 Inc. GST
A 1953 model during the transition period when denim jackets changed from work wear to casual wear. Commonly known as 2nd. The masterpiece representing the 1950s is tailored with brown duck fabric.
Cotton brown duck has been used for work wear since 1850, and has been used for work wear for a long time, rather than denim. It is a thick plain weave fabric and has a wide range of uses, including sails for ships, bags and tents. Like vintage-based denim, it is woven with a narrow power loom (shuttle loom), so it has selvedge. In addition, the brown dyeing is done with sulfur dyes instead of the currently mainstream reactive dyes. Therefore, you can enjoy aging like denim.

Tailor Toyo Lot. TT15520 / 1950s Souvenir Jacket “KOSHO & CO.” Special Edition “DRAGON & LANDSCAPE” × “DRAGON”

In honor of the zodiac sign of 2024, the dragon, the Year of the Dragon collection is a reproduction of a dragon pattern selected from a large number of vintage skajans. This time, as a special edition, Tailor Toyo reprint the "Printed Sukajan", which was only made for a short period of time from the late 1940's to the early 1950's. The surface is embroidered with two dragons glaring at each other with Mt. Fuji in between. The design is not filled with embroidery, but the black acetate fabric used as the base is used effectively to make the dragon drawn with delicately colored threads stand out. When we look into the materials from the time, we find that it was created by a skilled Japanese embroidery craftsman, and it has a dignified finish that makes it look like a Japanese painting. The original vintage specifications have been reproduced, including the dragon embroidery on the chest, which is larger than usual, and the three lines on the sleeves. The reversible side has a printed Japan map pattern. Instead of printing using modern machines, printing is done by hand, in which a plate is created one color at a time, and then the plates are printed over and over again by hand. This method requires time, effort, and advanced technology, so it was not possible to print at the time. Very few. Moreover, this design, which features a map of Japan along with castles and landscapes, is especially rare among printed Skajan jackets, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is impossible to obtain on the vintage market. The dragon on the chest is drawn in a size that would be impossible to find on an embroidered Sukajan jacket, and due to its powerful design and vintage rarity, it has been reprinted as a special edition for the Year of the Dragon. “KOSHO & CO.” SPECIAL EDITION This special edition is a reproduction of carefully selected masterpieces from Taylor Toyo's collection with great attention to detail. In addition to the detailed designs drawn with horizontal embroidery, the acetate fabric is adjusted to create a vintage-like finish, and the wool ribs are knitted one by one using an old-fashioned flat knitting machine. For the reversible zippers, we restarted the fastening machines that were used more than 50 years ago and recreated the same hand-bending ones that were used back then. Using the label of Kosho Shokai, the predecessor of Taylor Toyo, the finish is reminiscent of the heyday of vintage skajans. Made in Japan
