Crafted from 11.5 oz rigid denim, in a 2/1 twill pattern, it's lightweight but certainly not without personality. The fabric blooms in varying shades of cold, deep blue with crisp and strong, pronounced, fades that highlight the fabric’s texture. With great streakiness in the warp, the fabric flirts with a crosshatch pattern, which intensifies in the lighter shades of blue surrounding the more faded areas. Finished with orange thread and copper trims, the details add contrast but let the denim speak for itself.

～Fabric～
65 % Texas Cotton American-produced raw cotton renowned for its strength and powerful color fading.
35 % Zimbabwean cotton, 28.6mm fibre length, providing a good balance of softness and strength.
The fabric was woven using a 1950s "Sakamoto shuttle loom" that had been modified by the manufacturer, with the warp threads subjected to the lightest possible tension.
The finished product is a culmination of the skill and passion of the craftsmen in the Sanbi region.
~ Dyeing ~
Made using 100 % pure indigo and traditional rope dyeing techniques.
Although the surface of the thread is dyed blue, the core of the thread is not dyed.
This “ white in the middle ” contrast creates a beautiful aging effect as the garment is worn.
Created in the 1990s , it uses extra dark colors that create strong contrast fades.
～Finishing～
While the fabric has been treated to prevent shrinkage, the fabric has not been singed to prevent twisting, allowing the fabric's characteristics to be brought out.
By wearing the garment before washing, you can enjoy the vibrant color fading.

While following the design of a vintage jacket, characterized by a single pocket on the chest and a cinch back, the silhouette has been updated for a modern look.
Pockets have been added at the waist to increase practicality. At Omotodenim , both TYPE1 and TYPE2 have the same silhouette.
