Buzz Rickson’s Lot BR14975 / WILLIAM GIBSON Black Combat Tropical
SGD399.00
The Jungle Fatigue is a field uniform designed for subtropical regions. The first model, with buttons exposed from the pocket flaps, originally used cotton poplin, but this one uses cotton nylon, which is lightweight and has superior strength. The BLACK MA-1 was first produced by Buzz Rickson’s to commemorate the brand’s 10th anniversary.
William Gibson
‘s novel “Pattern Recognition,” the words “Buzz Rickson’s Black MA-1” are inscribed on the jacket worn by the protagonist. The actual Buzz Rickson’s Black MA-1 jumped out of that novel and was born. The standard colour for the MA-1, which was officially adopted by the US Air Force in the 1950s, was originally sage green, but there were no other BLACK MA-1s on the market that were black and used military-spec parts and materials based on mil-spec standards. As a result, it was well-received and became a hot topic among users who appreciate authenticity in the market. Even if each material is specified as black, they will dye differently depending on the material. When these are assembled into a single jacket, subtle differences in color will appear, clearly showing how many different materials the flight jacket is made of.

Buzz Rickson’s Lot BR02833 / SUIT-PNEUMATIC ANTI-G, TYPE G-3A HBT BAG
During World War II, the Type G-3A suit was adopted to reduce the G-forces exerted on pilots. The intense G-forces affect blood flow, causing blood to flow from the brain to the lower body, and if blood is lacking in the brain, the field of vision becomes pitch black, and eventually the pilot loses consciousness, resulting in a "G-lock" state. A suit was developed that tightly tightens the body with cords to prevent blood from flowing to the tips of the limbs. This bag was included to store the suit. The seams are carefully piped with time and effort, and the zipper uses a war-type TALON zipper. Although the capacity is compact, the transfer-type Air Force mark and the stencils that fill every corner show the pride of the Army Air Corps.

Buzz Rickson’s Lot BR42290 / US Navy N-3 Trousers
The N-3 utility pants were adopted by the US Navy in the early 1940s. With two simple hip pockets, they have the same appearance as the M-41 pants adopted by the US Marine Corps at the same time. The "USN" marking on the hip pocket distinguishes them as N-3 utility pants. The buttons are black-painted doughnut-shaped tuck buttons used during the war, engraved with a laurel wreath. When World War II broke out and the number of soldiers increased, additional production of equipment was rushed, and pants like the N-3 were made from a single material, from the lining to the pockets, to accommodate mass production.

Buzz Rickson’s Lot BR42635 / Trousers, Working, White Twill
These Buzz Rickson's original army denim trousers are made from cotton twill. The black speckles visible in the fabric are evidence of a time when cotton was crushed and used as is during the spinning process, before spinning technology was advanced, faithfully reproducing the texture of a bygone era. Workwear worn by laborers in America. In America, painters who painted the white walls of buildings wore white trousers so that white paint stains would not be noticeable. From this background, white work trousers eventually came to be known as painter's pants and became popular.

A two-pack T-shirt made of soft, comfortable jersey fabric knitted with 20-count combed yarn. The body is round-bodied, and the collar is made of ribbing knitted with 30-count yarn. The body fabric is sandwiched between ribbing, and the jersey fabric knitted with 30-count yarn is sewn into a tape shape at the same time, resulting in a double-binder neck design.
