These classic work pants have a deep rise and a thick silhouette from the thighs to the hem. Of particular note is the waist pocket, where the hem of the facing is flared, making it difficult for contents to fall out. The bottom of the lining is also 28% denser than normal, and a special lining is used to increase strength without the need for a patch.

Sugar Cane "Fiction Romance"
The timeless charm of vintage clothing, such as practical details and sewing specifications that pursue functionality. By unraveling historical facts and documents from that time, lost details are revived and combined in a unique way by Sugar Cane, a collection of works that embody a fictional story (romance).
These original pants are made from 13oz Awa indigo-blend sugar cane denim, inspired by the early 20th century. The specifications of this era usually only had suspender buttons and no belt loops, but these have six, and the placket has a one-piece fly design that makes it difficult for the crotch to tear. The side seams are rolled, so you cannot see the selvedge, but selvedge is used inside the coin pocket.

This Wabash stripe work shirt is made of 8.5oz indigo-dyed fabric with discharge printed dot-stripe pattern. It is based on a vintage from the early days of work wear, so it has remnants of the classic dress shirts.
SugarCane "Fiction Romance"
By reviewing and examining the documents of the time, SugarCane has revived a full range of functional details that are typical of the vintage work wear. It then combined the individual authentic details and uniquely applied them into their own items under the name of “Fiction Romance.”
Details:
The collar label is a hand-stamped stamp label. A “CALICO” paper tag will be attached to the product upon delivery. The lower part of the back yoke has a modified endpaper that can be seen on printed dress shirts. A union ticket is sewn on the back of the left front hem. The side slits are made of reinforced fabric with selvedge. The end of the winding stitch is a blank loop. The front buttons are donut-shaped metal buttons that were used on kids' overalls. The chest pocket is asymmetrical, commonly known as a ``gacha pocket,'' which was seen on pre-war work shirts. The sleeves are made with two sleeves, and are characterized by the sword part before it was simplified. The cuffs are gathered rather than tucked, a design unique to the generation transitioning from dress shirts to work shirts.

This is the 1953 model, widely known as the 2nd type. Made in a transitional period when denim jacket was changed from merely one of work wears to casual wear in US masterpiece of the 1950s.
Sugar Cane has studied and paid the closest attention to the entire process of recreating vintage denim, such as spinning, weaving, dyeing and stitching. Accordingly, our denim products have been loved and appreciated by many people across the world for a long period of time, establishing their status as timeless classic pieces. This is what we call a true “STANDARD.”
Action pleats + box stitching on the front. Nickel-coloured iron buttons are used. The cuffs of the sleeves are reinforced with rivets. Waist adjustment tab at back hem. The selvedge is arranged on the back of the placket.

Work pants in a robust 11oz. hickory stripe fabric woven on primitive shuttle looms. The navy part in the stripe pattern is rope-dyed indigo, which fades like denim over time.
