Classic dungarees made with Nudie Jeans very own Utility Denim. It’s a loose-fit, wide-leg style featuring off-white, tripple needle felled seams and stainless steel trims true to it’s workwear heritage. As is the big utility pockets. The denim is our take on the denim of the best chore coats, dungarees, and carpenters’ pants from the 1930s, which utilises fine, high-twist yarns together with a 2/1 Z-construction.
Here's a classic, regular, tapered fit washed to a light blue hue somewhat reminiscent of the great stone washes of the 1990s, but there’s a depth to this one. No abrasions, no wear marks, just an even, well-worn summery look.
Jeans with a mid waist and tight fit made in organic power stretch denim. The power stretch denim makes the jeans fit tightly and comfortably all over. Tight Terry has a tilted waistband, adding comfort as it fits slightly higher at the back than the front.
In our opinion, a perfect slim-fit silhouette with a tapered leg. This wash has a clear, mid-blue wash reminiscent of the 1960s–70s jeans found in vintage shops around the 1990s. We make Lean Dean with comfort stretch to give it denim a rigid feel while still being comfortable.
Jeans made in dry selvage denim. This one is definitely Nudie's heritage, the 13.5 oz. Kaihara selvage that has been with them since 2001. A fabric with the potential to become the greatest looking pair of jeans you ever put on. The fabric is tightly woven and has a right-hand construction with slubby yarns. It has an orange selvage id line, a feature made exclusively for Nudie. We recommend 6 months of hard, every day, wear before the first wash, if not longer. This way you will end up with a beautiful pair of worn-in jeans. It sure is a long time, however, it's only a recommendation. As long as you give them love, the result will be great.
Regular fit jeans with a tapered leg made in organic Japanese selvage denim.
This right here is special, the 13.5 Kaihara "Dry Selvage". It left Nudie Jeans in awe back in 2001, and thanks to its incredible aging property, it still does to this day. It is the first selvage denim Nudie Jeans ever used, and it is one reason Nudie Jeans exists. This is Nudie Jeans heritage.
You see, it was when one of their founders, Maria, got her eyes on this particular denim that what is today Nudie Jeans started to take form. And it's no wonder as it is exceptionally appealing - it has a deep indigo warp, unbleached, vintage-inspired "ecru" weft, tight construction, dry hand, and starchy crispiness.
Yet, the greatest part of the denim is its aging property - how it evolves with wearing. To understand it, let us get a bit technical. The warp is first dyed in a dark sulfur dye and subsequently in indigo. This dyeing technique gives the "Dry Selvage" the deep and muted indigo blue hue that looks so utterly beautiful, accompanied by our orange thread. It is also what gives the denim its intriguing nuances as it ages. It is what we call a greencast denim, denim that has a slight greenish-blue hue that becomes more evident with wearing. With years of wear and some washes - as the dark denim turns lighter in tone - the greencast starts to lean towards a redcast - clear blue - hue. This is why it is so intriguingly beautiful and has remained in our collection since the start of Nudie Jeans back in 2001.
We are very proud to offer Gritty Jackson Dry Selvage - our hats off for Kaihara's denim and indigo artisans, forever.
We recommend 6 months of everyday wear before the first wash, if not longer. This way, you will end up with a beautiful pair of worn-in jeans. It sure is a long time; however, it's only a recommendation. As long as you give them love, the result will be great.
Regular fit jeans with a straight leg made in organic selvage denim.
Tight fit and low waist made with power stretch. The denim has a nice and clean blue tone, and the abrasions softly merge into the mustaches on the front and honeycombs on the back of the knees. A truly spectacular vintage wash that might make you consider starting a band.
The pants version of Tuff Tony has all the characteristics of true worker pants. The loose fit, the wide leg, and the comfortable high waist. Nudie Jeans made this one with their own Nudie Jeans Utility Denim to blur the line between their love and adoration for denim and workwear. This is Nudie Jeans take on the denim of the best chore coats, dungarees, and carpenters' pants from the 1930s, which utilise fine, high-twist yarns together with a 2/1 Z construction.

Jeans with a slim tapered fit made in organic comfort stretch denim. It tapers evenly from the hip down to the ankle, an aspect that has made Lean Dean one of the most popular fits.
Jeans made in comfort stretch denim. Like the name implies, this dry, deep blue, option has been through 16 indigo dips. Unlike other stretch denim, these are not rinsed, so they are stiffer, and will shrink a bit more. Account for inseam shrinkage of 2% and 4.5-6% in width. Thus, sizing down is not recommended.
