This is an actual panel border T-shirt manufactured by an American swimwear manufacturer that has been making wool swimsuits since before the war. Following the method of making wool borders at the time, the round body has a panel-like border, which is not printed but woven. This T-shirt is made of 88% cotton and 12% rayon. In the 1970s vintage, it is known as the "88/12". It is a masterpiece that combines the water absorption and water repellency of athletic wear. It has a softer and more flexible texture than 100% cotton.

This is a standard Warehouse body knitted on an old-fashioned low-gauge knitting machine, which is said to be "rarer than a hanging knitting machine." This fabric is called a shadow border, knitted with uneven yarn #12 to create a unique shadow effect, and although it is plain, it has a subtle unevenness like horizontal stripes.
